Morocco Earthquake 2023

In response to the tragedy of the Morocco earthquake in 2023, the Maison Bonheur Association mobilized to provide essential support to affected families. Thanks to the generosity of its donors and the commitment of its volunteers, the association distributed hundreds of food baskets to families in distress, ensuring they had vital access to basic necessities.

Additionally, Maison Bonheur undertook an ambitious construction project to improve the living conditions of a group of particularly vulnerable families, including at least 10 households that lost their homes and have been living in tents since the disaster. The association has erected a central kitchen, a dormitory for children, and a classroom dedicated to educational and recreational activities. These facilities provide these families not only with shelter and material support but also with a space to rebuild a stable and secure community life.

Distribution of Food Baskets

Thanks to the generous support of our donors in France and Morocco, the Maison Bonheur Association organizes an annual food basket distribution campaign aimed at the most needy douars. This initiative, particularly intensified during the holy month of Ramadan, aims to relieve families living in disadvantaged rural areas by providing them with essential goods.

The Maison Bonheur Association is committed to supporting young girls in culinary training who are going through difficult times. Aware of the challenges they may face, the association offers personalized psychological support to help them overcome obstacles and pursue their lives with confidence.

In addition to this support, Maison Bonheur also provides financial assistance to the girls and their families, enabling them to meet their essential needs and focus on their professional future. This dual support, both moral and material, aims to create an environment conducive to their personal development and success.
